Meet Dr. Gerann Murphy, ND

Dr Gerann Murphy is the owner and naturopathic doctor behind Anam Health. She has been caring for patients in Kingston since 2012 and is known for a practical, compassionate approach that respects both science and the whole person.

Her work draws on lab testing, lifestyle medicine, nutrition, supplements, prescribing hormones where appropriate, acupuncture, and IV therapy. She especially enjoys helping people navigate hormone changes, perimenopause, fatigue, stress, thyroid concerns, and metabolic health.

WHOLE-PERSON CARE

Main Concerns we Support

Many people come to the clinic because something feels off. That might be changes in hormones, low energy, ongoing stress, or health patterns that have not improved or are causing them concern. The main areas we support include:

Hormones and Perimenopause

Support for cycle changes, menopause transitions, thyroid concerns, and hormone replacement therapy.

Stress

Care for burnout, overwhelm, poor sleep, and the ways ongoing stress can affect your health.

Fatigue

Strategies for low energy, reduced recovery, and the many factors that can leave you feeling drained.

Metabolic Health

Management of blood sugar, cholesterol, inflammation, weight changes, and long-term health patterns.

Our APPROACH

What to Expect

Anam Health is built for people who want care that is clear, collaborative, and evidence-informed. We work with both conventional and natural care models, and we aim to keep the process from feeling overwhelming.

Book an appointment

Start by booking an appointment. If you are new to the clinic, this is the first step toward getting clear on what is going on and what kind of care may be helpful.

Complete your first visit

Your first appointment is a chance to talk through your health history, current symptoms, and what you want to change. We take time to understand the full picture so the care plan reflects your goals and your situation.

Build a care plan

From there, your care may include lab testing, nutrition support, lifestyle guidance, supplements, prescribing hormones where appropriate, acupuncture, or IV therapy. Recommendations are individualized, and designed to fit into real life.

Follow up and adjust

Follow-up visits help us check your progress, answer questions, and adjust the plan as needed. This keeps care collaborative, while helping you understand what is contributing to your symptoms and what to do next.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our Services

Your care may include a range of supportive services depending on what you need and what makes sense for your treatment plan. These can help us gather more information, support your body more directly, and tailor care more closely to your health goals.

Lab Testing

We use testing to help guide care for thyroid function, cardiovascular health, blood sugar, liver and kidney function, blood counts, inflammatory markers, autoimmune markers, vitamins, and minerals.

IV therapy

IV treatment may be helpful when a more direct nutrient approach is appropriate. Options include glutathione and other IV drips.

Learn more

IV Iron

If low iron is leaving you feeling tired, weak, or short of breath, an iron infusion can help replenish your iron stores more quickly than oral supplements.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Acupuncture may be included when it makes sense for your care plan, especially alongside other supportive treatment.

Lasting Change

Why Anam Health

Anam is an Irish word associated with soul and spirit. At Anam Health, that meaning reflects a simple idea: health is deeply personal, and lasting change begins when care considers the whole person—not just the symptoms.

We chose a name that feels calm, grounded, and thoughtful. It reflects our belief that healthcare should be individualized, compassionate, and focused on helping people achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.
